Business Communications
This course develops the communication skills needed to succeed in professional settings. Students learn how to write and present clear, audience-focused messages across common workplace situations, including routine requests, cross-cultural communication, persuasive recommendations, difficult conversations, and data-informed reporting. Emphasis is placed on clarity, tone, structure, and choosing the right communication channel for the message and audience.
Through applied modules and assignments, students practice turning ideas into usable business communication: concise emails, organized reports, actionable recommendations, and polished presentations. By the end of the course, students will be better prepared to communicate professionally, collaborate effectively, and represent themselves with confidence in academic, workplace, and career contexts.
